TriCity Synth Society is Founded
The beginning of modulating the cities of Waterloo, Kitchener and Cambridge.
The TCSS was founded in 2023 by Rob Adlers, Jay Kaufman, Tristan Miller, James Reesor and Andreas Kitzmann to provide a community-oriented base for synthesizer enthusiasts and anyone interested in learning more about this amazing technology.
Fostering a sense of community with like-minded explorers of sound.
Hosting open mic nights and other events to bring us together.
Promoting the creative exploration and possibilities of synths.
Synthesizers in our view are the ultimate creative tool for creating music and audio experiences. Our aim is to bring together like minded individuals to explore the unlimited sonic potential of synthesizers through performances, workshops, jam sessions, conferences and industry trade shows. Everyone is welcome to participate – from the experienced synthesists to the those who are just curious.
The TCSS would not be possible without the tireless effort of our founders.
The TCSS is all about synths – modular, analog, digital, DIY, or anything that you can imagine.
We are shaped by where we come from.
